ROOMS

Our gorgeous rooms have been individually designed with all the modern comfort of a luxury small hotel, while retaining an intimate homely feel.

Each bedroom features large comfortable beds, crisp Egyptian cotton sheets, soft goose down duvets and pillows, ensuite bathrooms or showers and state of the art televisions.

There is free wifi throughout the building and complimentary fresh coffee and tea in your room.

As well as having two adjoining rooms we also have cot beds and comfy folding beds for children.

All of our rooms are dog friendly at a charge of £15 per dog.

NADDER

Named after one of Salisbury’s famous five rivers, Nadder is a lovely, large, light room with double aspect windows and the option of either generous twin beds or a king size bed.

There is also a sofa bed for additional family members or for simply relaxing with a book.

WARDOUR

Named after one of English Heritage’s most visited castles, Wardour is a lovely cosy room with beautiful furnishings.

There is a large double bed and ensuite shower and if required Wardour can be twinned with Win Green so that family members can move between rooms privately.

WIN GREEN

A beautiful hill on the chalk downs.

Our largest room, with double aspect windows and gorgeous old beams.

Win Green has a generous superking bed and ensuite bath and shower room. If needs be it can be twinned with neighbouring Wardour so that family members can move privately between the two rooms. 

CRANBORNE

The Cranborne Chase is an area of outstanding natural beauty stretching across the chalklands.

Cranborne  is a lovely large room with an  ensuite shower room.

ASHCOMBE

Up in the eaves, Ashcombe is a fun and quirky room with modern furnishings and a lovely view into the canopy of our regal oak tree.

Ashcombe also has a gorgeous free standing bath tub in a bathroom with original stone walls.

There is a super comfy superking bed, and an equally enormous bean bag for two !

FONTHILL

Named after the beautiful nearby estate of Fonthill, with its stunning stone arch.

This large airy room, is a new addition to The Royal Oak and has wheelchair friendly features.

There is an option of either generous twin beds or a large double bed and there is a spacious shower. 

*Please note this room is above the kitchen. Due to the age of the building this can mean that during busy periods it is possible to hear noise from the kitchen below and this is reflected in the lower price of the room. We do our best to negate any excess noise.
