LIBRARY TOUR & TEA
Visit Salisbury Cathedral's 15th century library which contains over 10,000 books dating as far back as the 9th century.
The Cathedral Archivist, will explain the history of the library and there will be an opportunity to view a selection of books from the medieval period onwards (45 minutes) followed by a delicious Cream Tea in the Refectory.
PAINTING & DRAWING WORKSHOPS
A variety of courses covering a range of techniques including portrait painting, still life, life drawing and landscape painting amongst others
STONEMASONRY WORKS TOUR
Learn how 150 million-year-old blocks of Jurassic limestone weighing up to 5 tons are transformed into stones in one of only nine cathedral yards in the country.
CHALKE VALLEY HISTORY FESTIVAL
Set within 70 acres of an area of outstanding natural beauty, the festival offers a unique blend of talks, discussions and debates alongside interactive living history, through-the-ages encampments and stunning air displays to excite, entertain and educate about the past.

Brave a walk around the Henge and stone circles then head to the Manor to see the beautiful Christmas decorations and discover more about the story of Saint Nicholas. Be tempted by the warming dishes and Christmas aromas of the café or delve into the National Trust shop.
